Sayonara (that's "goodbye" in Japanese)

Well. It could only last for so long. The goats, Doug and Gene, finally got the boot. They left a few too many "chocolate chips" around the yard, they whizzed on their legs creating a stench you wouldn't believe, they scattered hay all over the yard, they destroyed my dad's hedge. . .but the real death sentence (said figuratively--my parents didn't kill them)--they went after my dad's orchard. BIG no no. More specifically, his raspberries.
So up went the add on KSL. And my brother (who was responsible for getting rid of them since he's the one who brought them here in the first place) got a bunch of responses. One of them was on Cinco de Mayo and we're pretty sure they wanted to eat them. But they finally settled on a man with a farm who seemed nice enough and probably wasn't going to eat them.
And so we say farewell to Doug and Gene. You probably won't be missed, but it was entertaining while you were here.
