Need I say more about Mike now? I did NOT give him my blog password. But I'm not surprised he managed to hack in. Clever boy. But now I can call him a blogger. Which he's not a fan of. :)
Thanks to all for your birthday wishes. Turning 30 sucked as bad as I thought it would. My actual birthday and birthday presents were great, but having to say I'm 30 is painful everytime.
I get winded carrying the girls more than 20 feet, my knees make this really scary sound when I climb stairs (I'm not exaggerating here--Mike won't walk next to me going up the stairs because it makes him sick. I probably need to get it checked out), and I had a suspicious looking mole on my right arm, which my dad inspected, poked at for a second, and then ripped off (yes, I said ripped off) with his fingernail (ew) and told me it was a skin spot (ew). I'm old. And it's sad.
Good luck to the rest of my friends who are leaving their 20's behind. It blows.

Happy Birthday Lindsay
This blog has official been Hijacked.
Happy Birthday Lindsay!!! Much to Lindsay's dismay she turns the ripe old age of 30 today. To all of you blog stalkers that never leave comments, please leave a comment so Lindsay will know how much she is truly loved. I am trying to get a total of 30 comments to match her age. I am not the mushy type but I wanted all of you to know how much I love and appreciate Lindsay. She is the best wife a guy could ask for. She even cheered for the Utes when they annihilated the cougars just so that I would have a happy birthday.
To the Girl of my dreams, I LOVE YOU. I couldn't ask for a better life, thanks for helping make all of my dreams come true. And a Huge thanks for taking care of me and the girls.
And since she never posts any pictures of her I thought I would post a few. If this post is totally messed up that is because I am not really into the blog world.

Didn't work.
In an effort to be efficient, I tried to do a bunch of blog posts all on Sunday, then saved them as Drafts, and was going to post them throughout the week to spread out the love. Turns out they post as the day you saved them as a Draft. So when I went to post one, it went underneath the pumpkin post. So if anyone cares, scroll down and you'll see several new posts that will fill my quota for the week. :)

Pumpkins
We did carve pumpkins this year. Not so much because Mike and I love it, but because we do our best to have holiday spirit, no matter the holiday. And the girls thought the pumpkin guts were great. But more importantly, they were excited to have their own knives.

And yes, that's my 2 year old wielding (how do you spell that. . .i before e except after c. . .must be right) her own carving knife. She particularly enjoyed stabbing the pumpkin over and over in the face. Not sure if there's a warning sign there or not.
And I forgot to take pictures of the final product. Oops.

Random
Jaida's version of unloading the dishwasher. Take them out of the dishwasher and line them up all along the counter. It's a start.

Both of my girls LOVE heels. And I don't own any. Because I'm tall enough. And because I'm sure I'd roll my ankle. So when they found a pair in Nana's dress-up box they begged to "borrow" them. Here's Mya asleep with them on. And Jaida has shed many tears over not being able to wear them to preschool.

Baby dolls can keep these two busy for hours. I don't get it. But I don't have to. I'm just happy it keeps them entertained. Which is why we own so many.

This little lady LOVES to bake. She asks if she can help me all the time. This is a rhodes roll she "kneaded" and then baked. Pretty nasty when it came out, but she was quite proud of her first bake.

I let her pretend to bake (which probably isn't safe because she's using my ovens--they're not on of course, but I suppose one time they could be. . .whatever). Only problem is that she uses tupperware. She loads the lower oven full of it. Thankfully I've remembered to check before I turn the oven on to pre-heat, but one of these times I'm going to forget and there will be melted plastic everywhere. Not good.
Diggin' the hair.
Taken at my sister-in-laws house in Vegas. She has the most static carpet ever. I made Mya cry more than once from shocking her.
Day One
I put Mya in a pull-up today, just to see. . .Within about 20 minutes, she came into the kitchen saying "Ew". Ew doesn't even describe what I saw.
She pooed in the diaper, reached in, squished it in her hand, then painted her body with it. And by "painted" I mean she smeared it all over her stomach (she had no clothes on at the time cause that's how we roll at our house), legs, feet. . .thankfully none was on her face, but it was definitely in her fingernails.
She wins day one. Tomorrow, I think I'm going straight to underwear.
Did I mention I hate potty-training.

Remembering this. . . .
Much to Mike's dismay, I put off potty-training Jaida as long as possible. Why? Because I'd rather change 10 poopy diapers a day than clean up 1 poopy mess all over underwear, pants, the floor, the rug, etc. But she turned 3 and I didn't have a choice. And she potty trained in a day, and after a week, she didn't need diapers at night either.
Mya just turned 2. And she thinks she's big. And she wants to go "poop on the potty" and I've put it off as much as possible. But I don't think I can hold it off any longer. She's asking at least twice a day to use the "potty" and usually produces something. So. . .here comes potty training again. She's WAY too young. Ugh. It's a lot easier to tell a 3 year old in Walmart that they have to hold it. A 2 year old--no way. It's a mad dash for the bathroom. Bug.
Maybe this will stop her from deucing in the tub. Which she does regularly. And I AM tired of scooping that out.
So wish us luck. I think we're going to underwear on Monday. But maybe I'll find a way to put it off. :)

A princess and a monkey.
Halloween post part one. I barely have time to breath, let alone blog. And it's only going to get worse with the holidays. I need to move to a small town, in a small house, where there's not much to do. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYA!!!
It's Mya's 2nd birthday! She's not a baby anymore. She's been singing happy birthday to herself all day. This morning when she first opened her eyes, I sang happy birthday to her. She was still struggling to keep her eyelids open, but when the song ended, she pulled out her binky and pretended to blow out her candle. She's the coolest monkey I know! But I sure wish she'd quit growing up so fast. :(

"I wanna start a fight"
I would like to publicly thank my sister for introducing my 4 year old and 2 year old to Pink's song "So what?". Now everytime we get in the car, Mya yells "Na na na na I FIGHT". And Jaida knows almost all the words. I hear her singing throughout the day "Guess I just lost my husband. . . .I wanna start a fight." Good stuff. Thanks Kelli. Sure do.
Booger.
Mya's activity while I was showering. Water-proof mascara all over her face, pajamas, and rocking chair. Super awesome.

This is why I don't mop.
Mya was eating corn and goldfish for lunch. She accidentally dropped the corn on the floor (at least I think it was an accident) and it exploded all over the kitchen floor. She thought that was pretty cool so she purposely (and I know it was on purpose because I watched her do it) knocked the fish on the floor, clapped for herself, and hollered "Booyah." And then Jaida nearly wet herself from laughing so hard.

Last Call
Yo. We're still gathering coats. And we're taking clothes to if you want to donate any of those. I'm sure they're in need of just about anything. We'll be taking the stuff to the homeless shelter sometime this week so bring them by ASAP. You can also contribute money (which I promise won't go in our boat fund--although it's tempting) if you want to.
Thanks to everyone who has already contributed.
