Pumpkins

We did carve pumpkins this year. Not so much because Mike and I love it, but because we do our best to have holiday spirit, no matter the holiday. And the girls thought the pumpkin guts were great. But more importantly, they were excited to have their own knives.

And yes, that's my 2 year old wielding (how do you spell that. . .i before e except after c. . .must be right) her own carving knife. She particularly enjoyed stabbing the pumpkin over and over in the face. Not sure if there's a warning sign there or not.
And I forgot to take pictures of the final product. Oops.

Yep, we painted ours with puffy paint. Last year, Ryan broke out the drill and made some pretty unique "carvings" with the kids. Exhausting!!! And yes! a posting is in the works!!!!

Is this a little out dated- or did you JUST carve the pumpkins!! You never know with you- at least you always get around to it!!
